At the age of 14, I started a blog called Cross Words. My goal was to proclaim the words of the cross. Knowing that I was called to be a pastor, I used Cross Words as a means to preach God’s Word. The older I got, however, the more opportunities I received to preach God’s Word elsewhere. By the age of 16, I was preaching to local youth groups. And by the age of 17, I was preaching to main congregations.
In March of 2017, three local newspapers offered to publish my writings. As a result, I began writing Bible-based columns each week for The Point Pleasant Register, Gallipolis Daily Tribune, and Pomeroy Daily Sentinel.
What began as a personal blog turned into a weekly writing ministry. And I like to call it Cross Words. Why? Because these aren’t just words. Instead, these are words based upon the cross of Jesus Christ.
Cross Words is not a religious organization. And it’s certainly not a church. To this day, my biggest ministry is the local church. I love being among God’s people, leading them in worship, and preaching God’s Word. Cross Words is sorta like my weekly journal. A journal that you have access to!
Since many people don’t like to read, I record my weekly writings on podcast platforms. Apart from the newspapers and my website, Cross Words can be found on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and Spotify.
I pray that my writing ministry helps you in your own journey with Jesus Christ.
For His glory,
